If you are a full-time undergraduate or graduate student working towards a degree in risk management, insurance, or business this is the membership category for you.
To apply for membership, visit the Membership Categories and Dues section on the RIMS website and scroll down to the student membership category to apply online. The student membership year is October 1 - September 30; however, you can join any time within this cycle. Annual membership dues now apply to student members, unless you request a waiver. To request a waiver, complete the Request for Waiver of Dues form and submit it to CST@rims.org.
When applying for membership, you must use an email address that you use and check regularly to ensure that you receive notifications, information, and updates from RIMS and the Rocky Mountain Chapter. In addition, you must submit your transcript within 30 days or your membership will be terminated. Please be sure to include information about the courses in which you are currently enrolled. Email your transcripts to: CST@rims.org.
